PPP Consortium

Built upon world-class expertise

The Floating Delta PPP project is a forward-thinking initiative running from 2024 to 2027, focused on developing climate-resilient, plant-based food production in water-rich areas.

With the majority living in vulnerable, low-lying deltas, and the Netherlands being particularly at risk, our project aims to revolutionise food production.

We are exploring the potential of floating farms to ensure future food security, integrate agriculture into urban areas sustainably, and adapt to climate change.

Through a collaborative effort involving businesses, government, and research institutions, we're validating floating cultivation systems and investigating their societal, environmental, and agricultural benefits.
